Leonor's journey began when she ventured abroad for her high school education. Upon completing her studies, she joined a renowned advertising company, embarking on a career in marketing and advertising. Driven by her thirst for new challenges and an unwavering determination to achieve excellence, she set her sights on pursuing the coveted "American Dream" and decided to make the vibrant city of New York her new home.

Their visit to Club Macanudo, a prestigious cigar lounge owned by General Cigar, sparked her passion for cigars. Eager to develop her newfound interest, she steadily climbed the ranks to become the assistant manager of the establishment, ceaselessly pursuing excellence.

After four successful years at Club Macanudo, Leonor realized that to advance her career in the cigar industry, she needed to deepen her knowledge and understanding. Consequently, she applied for a position as a retail salesperson at the iconic Nat Sherman Townhouse, a place steeped in history and expertise. It was within the walls of this renowned establishment that she immersed herself in the world of tobacco, exploring its diversity, passion, and familial bonds it fosters.

Empowered by her growing expertise and unwavering passion for cigars, Leonor embarked on an entrepreneurial journey of her own. After spending a year with Nat Sherman, she became the Assistant Manager at Casa De Montecristo, operating two cigar lounges in Midtown Manhattan. After 2 years of success, she was asked to relocate to Boca Raton and run the newly opened Casa De Montecristo location. Her move to Boca Raton marked the beginning of her Nova Journey because, in 2019, she assumed the role of CEO of NOVA Cigars. Setting NOVA Cigars apart from the crowd, she adopted an innovative approach that catered to a wide range of cigar enthusiasts, from novices to seasoned smokers. Her vision was to provide a cigar for every occasion, ensuring that everyone could indulge in a unique and exceptional high-quality product.
